UPDATE. 10/01/22

We are currently taking bookings for 2022.  We appreciate that different restrictions are in place region to region and that not all schools will be in a position to make a booking just yet.  If you would like to make a booking, please rest assured that all of our safety procedures will be carried out rigorously and you can book with full confidence.  Details of our most up-to-date health and safety policy, in relation to the pandemic, can be found here.

UPDATE. 26/08/20

With schools in Scotland having now all returned we are pleased to say our office is now open.  However, we are initially working with reduced hours so please be patient if attempting to contact us.

If you currently have a booking with us for 2020, we are very much hoping to still visit you this year.  Should this situation change as a result of local/government guidelines, we will contact you and attempt to rearrange your booking.

We are also taking new bookings between the following periods:

St Andrew's Day:                 Wednesday 25th November - Tuesday 1st December 2020

Special Festive Version:      Wednesday 2nd December - Tuesday 22nd December 2020

Burns Day:                            Wednesday 20th January   - Wednesday 27th January 2021

World Book Day:                   Monday 1st March - Friday 5th March 2021

In addition to our health and safety and safeguarding procedures (full document available on request) we have also introduced a range of additional safety measures to ensure the safety of pupils, school staff and our own team.  Please click here for full details.

UPDATE 05/04/2020

Thank you and well done!!!

As schools remain closed for now, we would like to take this opportunity to show our thanks and support to all of our teacher colleagues working so hard from home to ensure children still have access to education.  They are also doing an invaluable job caring for children of key workers at this difficult time.  We would also like to highlight the fantastic work being done by our actors – past and present – to continue to entertain audiences online through karaoke, quiz nights, live performance, yoga classes etc.  We are so proud that you are able to bring a smile to people’s faces when they need it most.  We very much look forward to being reunited again and the opportunity to share that same dedication and enthusiasm to our productions in schools throughout the country.  Until that time, we hope you all stay safe and well.

Best wishes from Lee, Hazel and everyone here at the Takeaway Theatre Company.
